The Western Hemisphere Bird Banding Network (RAAHO) will hold a workshop in Cuzco, Peru, on November 8th at 9 am – 5pm on behalf of the IX Neotropical Ornithological Congress, to be celebrated November 8-14.
As the date approaches we are putting together a solid agenda.We suggest, as a starting point, that we take into account the subjects identified in the last meeting (posted on the website with the minutes of the meeting) which include:
- Data management, sharing and archiving
- Training and capacity building efforts in the Western Hemisphere
- Integration of banding schemes
- Ethics and bird safety
- Permits
- Emerging banding schemes
- Strategic plan
The WHBBN provides funds for all who want to participate at the meetind, please fill the form (download) and send it before September 28th.
